A Journey of Ambition and Resilience

Originally from Cameroon, Landry Wamba immigrated to Canada to pursue his studies at the University of Ottawa, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Management. Upon his arrival, he quickly realized the many challenges newcomers face in their integration journey. Rather than letting these obstacles define his experience, he chose to take action and became actively involved in supporting international students.

His natural leadership led him to become President of the International Students’ Association at the University of Ottawa, where he implemented mentorship and integration programs. This role marked the beginning of his commitment to empowering and supporting the diverse student community.

Building Solutions to Make an Impact

Savigration: Supporting Newcomers’ Integration
Convinced that successful integration relies on access to information and opportunities, Landry co-founded Savigration, an organization dedicated to helping newcomers, especially international students, successfully navigate the Canadian system. Through orientation programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives, Savigration empowers students and professionals to integrate and thrive.

SaviSolidarity: A Savigration Subsidiary Dedicated to Community Support<

Taking his commitment even further, Landry founded SaviSolidarity, the first non-profit subsidiary of Savigration, where he serves as Executive Director. Understanding the financial hardships faced by many international students, SaviSolidarity provides food assistance and essential resources to those in need. More than just an initiative, SaviSolidarity aims to become a national reference in community aid, fostering solidarity and support within the international student community in Canada.

Profipreneur Board: Celebrating Diversity and Innovation

In parallel, Landry launched Profipreneur Board, a platform dedicated to highlighting the successes of young professionals and entrepreneurs. His goal is to build a dynamic network where emerging talents can connect, learn, and grow together. Through networking events, workshops, and inspiring success stories, Profipreneur Board promotes diversity and amplifies the impact of young professionals and entrepreneurs.
